"The beach was amazing. Restaurants around the hotel were wonderful. Only problem is the pool chairs get taken by people putting towels on the chairs and not showing up for hours to use them so it is difficult to get a chair by the pool with shade. This should be stopped by the hotel."

The famous Maho Beach on Saint Maarten. Great place for checking out aircraft landings up close while sitting on the beach. Took this picture from the hotel balcony shortly after I arrived. Spent a good part of the next day at the beach bar at far end of the beach. The flight schedule is posted on a surf board and whenever a plane was landing, everyone got up and walked onto the beach to have the plane fly overhead. The plane landed and then everyone went back to their beer... #perspectives
