Excellent Service and Accommodations

We were there for BOOT in Dusseldorf. The hotel was perfectly located and we slept well. EVERYONE we encountered was friendly and accommodating. Loved the breakfast bar with the honeycomb :)

No room available but handled well

Got to the hotel to be told that there was no room for me as the previous guest had failed to check out. Instead I was sent to another Marriott about 15 minutes away. Not really that convenient. Having said that, the replacement hotel (Marriot Seestern) was nice and the process was handled quite smoothly: A taxi was organised and in the meantime I was given a drink and offered to take snacks from the "market" free of charge. When I arrived at the replacement hotel they knew I was coming and were very apologetic. So not ideal, but they did as well as they could given the circumstances.

Booked and paid for two double beds. Told upon check in that we would have to wait later on in day off two double so said that’s fine. Came back later but still not available. They said they would bring an additional single bed. Not good enough for £245 per night! In the morning when we mentioned this at checkout, the lady with blonde hair was rude and was suggesting it was my fault saying ‘oh yes it’s always our fault’ when I explained that her colleague told me it was their fault!
