I had a room close to the elevator which was noisy. Then other guests talking loudly in their room disturbed me. Had to go to reception twice in the middle of the night to complain. Was offered complimentary breakfast in morning as compensation, although I have had much better breakfasts elsewhere. Not impressed and would not use again.

B&B Hotel Dusseldorf

Nice clean hotel in a good location in Dusseldorf. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof. Check in was quick and efficient as was check out. Rooms are small but very clean with nice comfortable beds. Restaurants and bars and shops are within easy reach either by walking, taxi or tram. Would definitely stay again.

Good value for money

Value for money. It’s close to the train station, and cheap. The area is what you expect for the location, bit rough around the station but the hotel is fine for a overnight stay. The room is on the small side, but at least it has aircon which seems rare in Europe.

Air conditioning was very poor in the room (it was 28° and room was stuffy with AC running all day) but other than that no fault at all! Staff were incredibly helpful and happy to assist in any way possible! 😊

Very small room. No air conditioning even tho stated in description. Staff stated close to winter so it is turned off. Pillows very thin. Mattress is badically a 3 cm futton . Bathroom so tiny have to sit sideways as would hit knees on wall. No shelving to put anything.

Budget hotel with room for improvement.

Budget hotel. It was not the Ibis hotel as advertised on Hotels.com but is now a chain called B&B which was confusing. The rooms are small and the bathroom even smaller and the toilets are placed in manner that you can't sit on it decently. For a young person it might not be problem but for a lot of elderly visitors, it might not be very useful. Not well thought out I would say. The lobby area is decent. The breakfast was ok, not too many options. We had scrambled egg the first day and it wasn't an option anymore the second and third day. The staff were friendly but seemed to be surprised every time you asked them a question which is an odd thing for that profession. All-in-all if you want to visit the Christmas markets on a budget stay. Book at B&B but don't expect fireworks :)
