「Possibly the world’s best hotel! I almost hesitate to write this because it feels as though we’ve discovered gold in a world full of noise and sameness — a true gem I want to keep secret. But the extraordinary people behind this independent hotel deserve every bit of recognition. The hotel is stunning, with breathtaking views and a wonderful location, but what makes it exceptional is the team. Incredibly professional, yet genuinely warm, friendly and engaging. 「We loved everything about our stay. The staff is so friendly, the breakfast is amazing and the location is great.」

「Very nice place to stay and very friendly staff」

「We had the loveliest stay here. Lovely room, amazing breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, great location. Perfect attention to detail. Would stay here again for sure.」

「This location was within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and Rainha beach. The quality of the bed and linens and the attention to detail was impeccable. it was like being in a protected oasis and Marco and the staff were so sweet and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices, also very helpful if you’re running up to Sintra or sightseeing. We would highly recommend!」

Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. What truly made our stay exceptional was the kindness and hospitality of our host. On the last day of our visit, we experienced a medical emergency, and she went above and beyond to help us. She accompanied us to the hospital, helped with translation, and guided us through the entire...

「We just loved our stay at Chalet Ficalho! The building, grounds and decor all radiated old-world charm. The walled property nestled in a neighborhood felt like a private sanctuary. The staff are attentive, professional and accommodating. Everything here is just so pleasant, from the delightful breakfast on the patio to the private outdoor pool. Private parking is a bonus!」
