"The washroom was not really clean. We could not throw our toilet paper in the toilet due to the host rule. Also, the AC didn’t work and the bed pillows were so hard to lay on. "There was no one working at the hotel. Doors were locked and you had to have a cold to get in. Neither Expedia or the hotel gave me a cold. I did not stay because I couldn’t get in and had to go to another hotel. "Very spacious home that’s close enough to the beach to walk (the way back would be all up hill), but you’re better off takin an Uber for $2-3 Euros each way. The home is immaculately maintained and has everything you could need to include English TV channels. Only downside and it’s small is, the shower is great, but it’s hard to keep the water inside because the shower pressure causes the shower head to rise up spraying water out. "Our villa had an issue that needed repair. The wonderful staff moved everything for us to an upgraded villa while we were at my daughter’s wedding! They were so helpful & kind! I highly recommend staying at this resort & would definitely return when in Portugal! "

Great stay away from tourist traps

"We had a fabulous 2 night stay. We took the train from Lisbon and it was right above the station which was very convenient. It was a 15 min walk or so from Cascais which we appreciated because it was less touristy and quiet. The staff was friendly and it was easy to get around with uber. The pool is lovely and not crowded. It’s only 59 rooms so it felt cozier. Would definitely stay again."
