「It is a small room, but it is clean and very quiet. Located in the heart of Shasta City, it is conveniently within walking distance to restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores. The room key is retrieved from a key box, so you don’t have to meet hotel staff, which provides good privacy. However, I needed a band-aid and a spoon, so I asked the woman at the front desk—who I believe is the owner—and she kindly brought them to me. 「This totally renovated hotel is a revived classic with modern improvents. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room invited light from the outside to make it shine. Sitting area, polished chrome fittings, comfortable chair and reading areas, one by a window. Outstanding room. Staff was mostly absent and electronic lock was glichty, otherwise a restful stay.」
