「A grand hotel building set on a picturesque estate with very good parking. It is set quite of the beaten path and the lane leading to the car park area was quite bumpy, dirty and replete with potholes. The hotel is part of the Sure Collection which is Best Western's premier line. 「Clean room. Mattress not great very springy and going in all directions and had to ask for a duvet the second night to lie on to get some sleep. This was disappointing Bar good. Booked for dinner but service was sadly lacking, food ok. Outside balcony good to sit outside and staff table service was good Spectacular view from the room and may visit again 」

「Poor Golf Experience. We arrived at 530pm with the hope that we could have a drink at the golf clubhouse, only to be told the bar was closed and the staff were looking to kick out the current guests. Considering golfers were still on course, not what you would expect. The hotel was dated and only seemed to be interested in the health club side, where members were walking in and out of the restaurant area. No real bar, no atmosphere and morale of staff very low due to poor management. We waited...

「It's a very friendly hotel. The room was clean & cozy. The restaurant also very good and I didn't need to find a place to eat. Excellent for a night or two and explore the nearby area.」

「Check in was a nightmare...one member of staff to multiple people waiting in a line.....dust around tv and no bag in bins or properly clean rooms.no info about ev charging and more annoying was car park was full yet when i popped out just for 5mins my spot was taken...parking should be allocated per room」

「We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. 」
