「The hotel is already relatively "modern" if you compare it with other hotels nearby. The single room and bed are small and old, but comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a spider in my room, which was totally unacceptable. I was advised by the receptionist that it was her first time to hear that and I should take a photo (if I did, I would upload this photo together with my comment). 「The pub is charming but very, very loud and our room opened out to the courtyard. The room was very hot because it faced the sun and the day was bright, so we needed to open the window and then had a lot of pub noise. The en suite bath was tiny but operational. On the plus side, the staff were super friendly and helpful and despite a busy evening, they managed to seat us so we could eat. The food as good too both for dinner and breakfast.」

「Comfortable room with all the basic necessities in place. Friendly owner and staff. Close to bus stop for buses that take you to city centre. While the DART station is slightly far away, it’s a nice 20-minute walk in the neighbourhood (and through a lovely little park). I was spoilt by the delicious breakfast every morning! 」
