Service desk was great. Room was a student room as expected. All fine. Dcu was very busy and many of the young folks were very loud next door and just outside our windows. Screaming and hollering.. otherwise it was good.

The room was clean and well maintained and ideal for college students and/or solo travelers on a budget. It has 1 single bed, a study table and a bathroom. I got a 10 euro coupon for breakfast the next day and that was pretty good and includes hot and cold items and coffee/juice etc. It opens at 730am. There’s also a Euro Spar market and subway across the street from the main entrance and a store and pharmacy on campus. Overall a great deal for your money!!

I stayed for 2 nights. I felt incredibly safe while staying here. I also appreciated the breakfast vouchers. Across the street was a park that was lovely to walk around. It could have been a little cleaner but overall I am very happy with my stay.

The location is great, is was near our family and bus lines to Dublin. The room prices are good but you’re staying in a tiny dorm room. It was nice and quiet when we stayed in May. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The maid service made the beds every night but forgot to replace towels. The worse thing about the whole experience was the in room bathroom. It needed total renovation. The grout was in terrible shape, the toilet bowl was rusted and the sink was beat. There’s also no bathroom fan available and some signs of mold. Our room was ground level and the window faced a maintenance area where some workers smoked. Overall it’s probably a ok experience for prospective college students. The DCU campus was busy even offseason but it’s very subpar for a hotel room for parents or any adults.

I needed an overnight stay before catching a flight the following morning. All the airport hotels were ridiculously expensive (170+ euros) and then I found this option to stay at DCU for about 75 euros. Managed to get the bus from the airport to DCU which cost 2.70 euros [NOTE they only take cash on the bus and they do not give change, luckily I had 8 euros in change to cover my bus fare to DCU and back to the airport the following morning] Bus stop was right outside DCU when getting dropped off. Note the bus stop for pickup when going to the airport on the other side of the road + a small walk away. There is a bus stop directly across from the DCU entrance but this is drop-off only. You also have to flag the bus down to stop otherwise it will just drive past you !! Had received good instructions via email telling me where to find the accommodation reception, so found it no bother. Staff were great at checking me in and giving a map of the campus to get to the accommodation block. Room was basic (it's a student dorm so I expected this) but it was clean and provided a bed/bedding and towels for the shower/bathroom. I was also able to pop in a use the campus bar to get a drink. All in all, it served my purpose really well in that I had a bed for the night and a shower for the morning at a reasonable price. Would certainly use again.

Very nice option

It was a great stay! Very convenient with buses to go from the airport and to the city center. The price is very good and the breakfast is complete with lots of choices. The only problem was that we could hear people party outside quite loudly, so I wouldn't recommend to anyo e having trouble sleeping! Also, the mattresses were quite hard.

Lovely room and nice, clean kitchen. Staff were super friendly and helpful! Breakfast was a nice touch too. Room was extremely hot and having the window open meant that we could hear the international/summer camp kids all night who were very loud! Not the hotels fault ofc but don't expect a peaceful night's sleep lol

Suitable to sleep

We stayed for a few nights and found it was lovely and big campus. We weren't told where to have breakfast and we got lost trying to find it, then we didn't get told what we could eat in terms of our coupons and we didn't get to eat the following two days after paying for it. The room was standard but good enough for staying in for sleeping, the sink was leaking, the tap was cracked and we got soaked in the rain and the radiator didn't even turn on. Was not happy but least we got them dry the old fashioned way. The nubar club was nice and cheap for food, the sharer we had was delicious and the pizza. Overall a pleasant enough stay
