I recently stayed at this hotel with my family, booking two rooms for our visit. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the lack of basic amenities—neither room had towels upon arrival. After requesting them, we received only one (yes, just one towel). The staff appeared untrained in hospitality, especially the front desk attendant, who was unfriendly and rarely looked up from what seemed to be his computer or device, giving us minimal attention. Additionally, the hotel’s location is extremely noisy and crowded. For those expecting to meet with local friends, it’s quite challenging due to the limited parking options nearby. We stayed there for three days but nobody came to service our rooms. Breakfast was good as they kept on changing the menue each day. The music was too loud in the breakfast restaurant. The lady over there wasn’t friendly either. They didn’t have enough bowls of sugar at each table. Guests would have to go from table to table to get it wherever it t was available. The positive side of the outside of the hotel is that there are several stores and some nice restaurants.

Decent choice for a budget hotel in the old area of Dubai. Close to metro and water taxi. Hundreds of shops of all kinds in the vicinity. Many dining choices. The included breakfast is varied and plentiful. Rooms are a bit run down but good enough for travelers on a budget.

Disappointing Stay

This stay was disappointing. Here are the issues we had: -cockroaches (we killed 8 in two days) -lock and handle were very hard to use -front desk tried to overcharge us for the city tax. They wanted 20 AED per night, instead of the 7. -front desk reception not very pleasant -bathroom floor would flood

In the center of toehold city of Dubai. Real Arab markets, nostalgic transport, simply original Arab world.The only thing about the hotel:it needs reconstruction, the bathroom is in terrible condition :( In the room throw away dirty carpets. At the reception willingness,it is a plus but it is better to stay in your room. Overall bad impression, almost no internet in the room...signal only at the door

They put a toxic/hazardous material for me to inhale through the exhaust fan of the bathroom, that made the exhaust fan to be exhausting to the inside than exhausting from inside to the outside. Staff are terrible, and want to give so much harm to my well-being and health. I'll encourage everyone not to stay in this not safe property. The bed linen and pillow bags are also itchy, seems it haven't been washed for years.
