"Stayed one night since it was about 10-15 walk to the airport. Good clean hotel. Quiet. All the amenities including a mini balcony to get some fresh air. One thing I couldn’t work was the TV but they have working WiFi so no bother. Breakfast was continental nothing special for the price but cheaper than airport breakfast. The hotel is good but nothing around except the airport. A couple of restaurants sparsely located near by. Good for a night or so. "

"we stayed as couple on vacation at the Octant Douro for 3 nights. it's excellent hotel, one of the best we ever stayed,the spacious and the luxurious rooms, the excellent service of the entire staff, the food at breakfast, the view from every window or place in the hotel is amazing !

"This hotel is really lovely, the staff are great, the rooms are nice and clean, the rainfall shower was also very much appreciated on a hot day.
The reason we booked this hotel is so that we could swim the night before our flight. Unfortunately, the pool is not open until the summer months, which might have been helpful to know, seemingly there is conflicting information on the website.
