"Charming hotel. Staff was very nice and conversational. It felt like the real Swiss German experience, not some tourist trap. It's a pretty old building with no air conditioning, but is very charming. Breakfast is pretty basic, but the staff made an effort, even providing American style filter coffee. Cars are loud on the nearby road, you'll need to close the windows."

"What a cool, European place. Easy (less than 10 min) walk from the train station. Perfect location that is quiet yet close to lots of restaurants. Easy automated check in process so we didn't have any contact with anyone during our stay. Phone was used to open all the doors in the property. Very clean, comfy beds with excellent towels/linens/pillows. A/C worked well. Good WiFi. It was the perfect place for my wife and I to spend a couple of nights. Bern and the area is very neat."
