"The outside was beautiful and the front lobby was clean and very well stocked for snacks and any kind of drinks you could ask for. The second room I got was good, it was the king suite and very spacious, only issue was the sofa wasn’t comfortable at all so I didn’t use it. The first room I had, the refrigerator wasn’t working so they told me I could move.
The breakfast was great, clean and very well stocked.
I used Expedia to book the room because it was cheaper than the hospital rate for UVA when I called the The English Inn."
Residence Inn by Marriott Charlottesville Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"Spacious and clean room with comfortable bed. Easy walking distance to down town. The breakfast was welcome - limited options but what was offered was good."
"Lovely stay at the Graduate Hotel in Charlottesville. I’ve stayed at a few of these throughout the country and they are always welcoming and impeccably designed. I love that they capture the flavor of the city."
"We had a great stay at Crossroads. However, when we checked in we had to wait an additional 1.5 hours for the room to be ready. 4pm checkin already is a little late, so waiting around another 1.5 hours not knowing when the room would be ready was a bit of a pain. It was made worse by Pippin closing at 4pm for a private event, so we basically had to sit around while we waited. They did treat us to a bottle of wine as an apology, which helped make the situation better. All in all, the amenities were great and the room was wonderful."
