「The room is very spacious and comfortable with most of the necessary items included ! The bed is comfortable and big enough. I chose Junior suit for family stay which would not make us feel crowded. Though the hotel is no located right near Basel SBB station, it just takes 5mins bus (no.30 at station C next to Basel station) to arrive hotel. The surroundings of the hotel are silent and beautiful. I love this stay ! Moreover, the hotel provided us a card per head for taking the transport in Basel...

「It is a bit far from the Basel train station but the tram number 8 can take you nearby, hotel host upgraded my room to a bigger size on top floor, while you cannot imagine it is a big hotel from outside, good bathroom with enough hot and water pressure, easy to reach most of the Basel old town attractions」

「Thanks to the receptionist Samuel for his excellent service and recommendations for local dining restaurants. All the staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful with personal warmth. The hotel itself is at great location, clean room, and free minibar provided. We had a wonderful experience staying in Marthof Hotel and will definitely stay here again next time when we come back. 」

「This is a great hotel to stay in on or road trip to Italy The room was super comfy and I had a great sleep. The room and bathroom were spotless We booked a table at the restaurant, just as well as it was fully booked. Service and food were excellent. 「I really enjoyed my stay at the Mercure. After a long drive it was so nice to have a swim in the pool and relax in the jacuzzi and sauna. The bed in my room was so comfy and the room itself was spacious and so quiet. I also loved the blinds to make the room completely dark. The hotel was really easy to find and luckily not far from the motorway so I didn’t have to navigate too far. I also ate in the restaurant and the food was really nice and the service was very good. I would definitely stay...

「This was a last minute booking as our daughter wan't very well. The staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was very smart and I liked the interior design. The bedrooms and a selection of books on a bookshelf which was a nice touch, the bathroom was great, having a walk in shower and a bathtub. Breakfast was lovely. 」
