「Friendly staff, good pub attached with good food. Breakfast was tasty but did take a while to arrive (30mins). Room was clean, but tired and in need of some repairs (bathroom doorframe and main light fittings). Good place for an overnight stop.」

「Fabulous room, comfortable bed, clean. Lovely dinner in the room. I had an issue with the door and the guy in charge came and sorted it straight away. I think an extra lock from the inside would have made me feel more comfortable as a single woman travelling alone.」

「Location was a plus since you don’t have to deal with congested traffic in the city. Free parking an obvious plus. Food was decent. Staff and service very good. The only real negative was one of hygiene. It was noticeable that when customers used the toilet facilities and failed to wash their hands, they would return to the restaurant and handle the utensils stacked in the containers on the table. In future, I would take wipes and clean before using.」
