「Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...

「Très bon emplacement, devant la télécabine Mont-joie, donc très pratique. Belle vue sur les dômes de Miage. La demi heure de jacuzzi sauna est très agréable après la journée dans la neige. Et surtout, surtout, nous avons excellemment bien mangé au restaurant de l’hôtel, très soigné, très raffiné, pour un prix très correct. Le seul point noir, c’est le café! Poudre dans la chambre, pas de machine, et le café du petit dej à revoir… pas digne d’un 4 étoiles 」

「The stuff are very nice with us and we had a very good experience with them but I think the hotel should upgrade the installation because there is even no drinking water in the room or a Hot water bottle and there is no microwave which is very inconvenient and we had two single bed and the bed is very small but I really have to say the stuff is very very nice with us so I’m really happy with that !」

「Just had 5 nights with the family on a skiing holiday in this lovely hotel located right on the slopes. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the lounge with stunning views of Mont Blanc is stylish and welcoming, the rooms despite being a little tired are warm, clean and have crisp white sheets and fluffy towels. We also had balcony with mountain views. There were some lovely touches too, like little teddy bears on our children’s beds and a bottle of champagne on arrival because it was...

「Great staff, especially Roman and Lucy at Reception. They were so welcoming and offered great tips for dining and parking around Chamonix during UMTB week. I wouldn’t recommend staying here without a car since it’s a little off the beaten path, but it was a great home base for our trip. 」
