「This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! 「This was a lovely hotel and we had a great stay. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and also a welcome gift which was very well received. The room was great, a good size, clean and well maintained. The grounds were gorgeous. The Manor House is beautiful. The golf course was good and well maintained. 「The room was very clean, modern and spacious. A little fridge was stocked and the usual tea and coffee were available.
The gym is small but had everything that I wanted to use, the spa area was clean and everything worked.
Reception and room service staff were professional, polite and friendly.
