「The hotel was great. We had a lovely room with very comfortable beds, a great gym and an amazing staff. Especially Melissa who welcomed us with a big smile every day at breakfast and Sherèda who left really nice notes, whishing us a great day, after cleaning our room. 」

「We stayed here for Carnival week and arrived Thursday and did not receive any house keeping until we checked out a week later. Room was cheap for Carnival but understandably so. Front desk staff and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Felt safe in location but it isn't a walkable area and need to get transportation to anywhere in Port of Spain. No phone in room. No safe, which is essential. Bathroom very dated with bathtub painted with latex white paint so was peeling off during showers....

「My wife & i spent one night during the carnival period. The place was clean, located near all the carnival activities and did not cost as much as the other nearby legacy hotels. However, it could do with a little upgrading & modernizing as it had a 1980's feel. The staff is helpful but a bit more training in terms of greeting customers, warm smiles and making you feel welcomed would help. We felt like it was an emotion-less business arrangement. 「This was absolutely THE WORST accommodation I have ever booked via Expedia. Immediately upon arrival it became very clear that the information included on the booking page and the actual lodging arrangements were STRIKINGLY different. The room was dirty and infested with spiders and mosquitos. We sprayed our room down with bug repellent each night, including the actual beds. There was no key hole on the door AND the lock was broken. It was also clear that the door had been jimmied in the past as...

「We loved our stay at the Las Cuevas Beach Lodge. Huge room with fantastic views, very friendly helpful staff and an amazing beach directly across the road. As long as you don’t expect five star facilities when only paying their very affordable rates, I think you would also enjoy staying here. Some of the facilities are basic but we were comfortable and enjoyed the bar/restaurant. I would highly recommend spending some time here.」
