Not respecting Guests staying at the hotel
I first came to the hotel with no booking. When I came to the hotel the receptionist asked me if I was going to stay only one night. I answered that no, I planned on staying more than one night and he indicated its not a problem. There were no issues through my short stay. No reason that they would decide that I'm not a good guest. I am a quiet and tidy guest. So it's very unlikely they didn't want me to be a guest anymore in the hotel because of something that happened during my stay. And yet, the next morning the receptionist came to my room and said that all the rooms are booked so I would have to leave! At first I thought some group booked all the rooms through some booking site and they have no option but to accept this booking, so I decided to check and found there are available rooms in this hotel according to booking sites, so I booked myself a room through Hotels.com, but when I showed it to the receptionist he didn't accept this and said they are already fully booked not through a booking site but by someone who contacted the hotel directly that morning! All my protests did not help and I was forced to leave.
If someone contacted the hotel why did they book an occupied room for them? The least they could have done was knock on my door and say that I would have to book the room if I wanted to stay since they have someone else who wants to book the room. They obviously don't respect booking sites so this can't be the reason for prefering their booking over mine..
