「Quirky old accommodation lovely staff fab evening food, ok continental breakfast...great vibe in the pub lovely and friendly people. Room was comfy, did need some attention to cleanliness, but saying that the bed was spotless and very comfy...bathroom small but well equipped.」

「Fieldways hotel has been our choice over the past 10 years but on this occasion we were very disappointed with the lack of staff available at any time, seemed a like a “Look after yourself” scenario’ Our main concern was that we paid £24 more than ever before and there was no cooked breakfast!! The toilets were very dated and needed a complete overhaul/clean. My comment to my wife was that I did not think the hotel would stay open for long and that it seemed as though it was going to be closed...

「Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was a little tired. A big car park for about 14 cars was a big plus. The road system is a little complicated and busy, so advanced planning how to access the car park is recommended. The full English Breakfast was provided bang on time and was adequate. I would suggest that they introduce cornflakes, marmalade and any fresh fruit or yoghurts. We also had to ask for second cups of coffee/tea.」
