The atmosphere, location, and staff are truly outstanding! Being a small hotel allows the team to offer a remarkably personal experience, with thoughtful communication and attention to your needs even before arrival, making you feel genuinely welcome from the very beginning.
The staff speak several languages fluently and are among the most professional, and genuinely caring teams I’ve encountered. You can really feel the dedication and attention to detail behind everything they do.

It was a wonderfully unique experience to stay at this Japanese hotel with a private onsen bath in our room. I would recommend staying at least 2 nights as it is in a remote location 40 min from downtown Kanazawa. They have a free shuttle to and from Kanazawa that you need to organize with the hotel. The multi-course Japanese breakfast in a private room was a treat. The staff was very responsive and helpful despite not speaking much English. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Room was excellent with an amazing Mountain View. Full amenities and top notch service. Staff goes above and beyond and are personable and friendly, even as English speaking tourists. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect mix of made to order hot dishes along with a large spread of buffet items.
The best hotel in Hakuba if you want a luxurious and relaxing experience.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful! From the beautiful entryway, the carved headboard, the sumptuous fabrics and tile choices, and all the bathroom amenities. The staff were totally accommodating and knowledgeable. The location was perfect. A lovely stay.

Room is big and clean. The staff is very nice and polite. It's very near the train station, so you could walk to several tourist spots. But it's next to the train track. Although the windows is sound proof, you could still hear it. If you sensitive to noise, this might not suit you. But our family is fine, we could sleep through the night.

Best bang for your buck hotel in term of facilities and amenities! The club lounge option is worth the extra money since the breakfast and club lunge offer premium food and drinks. The breakfast option is the best I seen in terms of Asian & western selections.

My stay at Stella was amazing. The host, Shuji, was kind enough to make himself available for when I arrived, to make sure the check in process was smooth. The room was spacious and clean. Although men only had one shower to share (there is more than one men’s only toilet), I never waited to use it, nor did I make anyone else. The host was also gracious enough to give recommendations for food and visiting spots around Kanazawa, which I tried and enjoyed greatly. He even called one of my upcoming...

La Neige is a great hotel, the staff is perfect, I want to come back, the premises are beautiful, so elegant, and at a good price, there’s no onsen, but no problem, there are options a few minutes away, and the hotel have an excellent transportation service.
I definitely want to come back.

The hotel was in a great location, right by Omicho Market and only 10 to 20 minutes walk from the various historical districts in Kanazawa. It's also close to multiple shrines, the castle, and the Kenroku-en Gardens. When I told a staff member that I wanted to do a day trip to Yamanaka Onsen, they gave me some tips on getting there. Also, the cafe is delightful. I tried their ginger latte and thoroughly enjoyed it!

If is a charming traditional Japanese inn in Takayama. It’s location is very convenient for walking to the train station and the main tourist area, but it is situated on a quiet side street. The staff was very friendly. The Japanese breakfast was excellent. We were given kimonos to wear. A very authentic experience.
