"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lakehouse! The whole experience was top notch and even with a slight mix up, they went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. It was a surprise stay for my wife's birthday. I reserved dinner at the restaurant in the hotel, Rose Tavern. The service and food was amazing! The front desk service was tremendous. I run a small business and I know what it takes to serve customers at a high standard. The Lakehouse on Canandaigua Lake will be an expierience and stay to remember! "Cleanliness was good and the pillows were comfortable but that’s about the only positive I can share. We arrived late and were placed in a room in a separate building behind the main hotel. Maybe I missed it in the description somewhere, but I didn’t know this was an option. This second building was rundown. I would not have felt safe if it had been just myself and my daughter. There was a parking lot outside the window with no barrier at all; a car could have easily driven right through on to the bed. Bathroom was very dark. Breakfast area was small and the coffee was not good. I have never stayed at a Country Inn and Suites before but it was the location we needed. I hope to never have to stay here again."
