「The location is excellent as it is away from the main busy area but only 5 minute drive . The pool is always clean and well maintained . Free breakfast is nice . Always staff on site . Housekeeping ladies were excellent providing anything needed . Parking numbers need to be explained better as people kept parking in the wrong spot( maybe repaint numbers , tell people which spot is theirs) we lost our spot twice . Year 4 at this location and will most likely return .」

I have stayed at a number of historic properties before and this one is maintained to what I would say is a minimum level (peeling paint and wallpaper, beat up furniture), which is not to say that it is not clean.
