The staff and service people are very helpful.

Due to a problem with another Inn, we found this place for the night as we were driving. It was a great surprise and so glad we found it! Besides the look of a castle on the outside it continued to look like one on the inside. Everywhere you looked there was something awesome to see and our room was great too. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely recommend this place!

A couple of times I had questions for the front desk and they were always available and pleasantly helped me.

We had a great stay at the Balsam Inn! Everyone put their hearts into giving folks a great experience. My husband says the dinner was the finest he ever had, and I appreciated all the little things that made our travel easier (ice for coolers, a shared frig, absolutely lovely and plentiful bedding). We would definitely stay there again!

I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were comfortable, clean and I was able to sleep very well on the beds provided. I wish there were more eating options around the vacinity.

We had a comfortable, relaxing, enjoyable stay. Being able to swim in the Great Sacandaga Lake was quite a summertime treat! Staff is friendly and responsive.
