「Do not stay at this hotel. The resort is nice, but they double-charged for my room. I paid Expedia for the room, but the resort charged me again. Both the resort and Expedia are refusing to issue a refund. If you want to risk theft, this is the place to stay.」

「Our cabana had 2 beds, for 3 persons cabana #3. Description was real and honest, A/C worked and helped with the bar noise. The beach was taken care of, clean, all recommendations were spot on and appreciated. The cabana did not have the second doors with the net only. The water pressure in the shower seemed weak, but it was enough even to wash my long hair, so no problem. We would appreciate more hooks on the walls or a stool to put our suitcase on. We had amazing 3 nights!」

「This is a gem of a quiet, accommodation spot with a nice sandy beach, small pool, a good restaurant and nice swimming in the ocean out front. The accommodation huts are perfect, the beds are decent and we felt as if we had our own private resort for some enjoyed R&R. It’s a short drive away from Placencia but well worth it for this experience. Kids loved the pool, paddle boards, hammocks and large beach area. I definitely recommend this place!! 」

「Ray Caye is an amazing resort! Had the best time here. The resort is incredible, the grounds are gorgeous, the staff and the food is : amazing. I had an ocean view room with a small plunge pool. The room had a separate living room and a full kitchen. Lots to do on the island, and a dive shop to help you organize a trip if you wish to adventure off the island. I can't wait to come back!」

「We watched the Hollow monkeys for hours there were so many of them in the trees and listening to them at night was simply beyond anything you can imagine the customer service at the resort was amazing and we felt like we were in heaven」

「This was a spectacular stay. We chose the room facing the Caribbean Sea vs. having a kitchen set-up and it was the best decision ever. We loved every aspect of the Ellysian - most especially, being able to step out onto the sidewalk (Main Street) and in one minute, came upon Beaches and Cream cafe, the best coffee shop one might find anywhere in the world. The restaurant up four flights was also a hidden treasure. Although one has to be lucky enough to be able to make the climb, there is a...

「This was our second winter trip to the Turtle Inn. We were delayed by a blizzard and arrived 3 days late, but it was such a welcome relief to get there. Can't say enough about how we enjoy this magical place. Staff was top notch, food was excellent, and the massage! Oh the massage. It made us forget about the 39" of snow back home. We will be back again next year.」
