DAKU ISLAND in SIARGAO, Philippines is one of the stops on the islands tour which includes the islands of GUYAM, NAKED and DAKU and is usually the last and furthest stop although still only about 20 mins by boat from the dock in General Luna. There are various tour operators and hotels that provide tours but it is also possible to just turn up at the dock and get a local boatman to take you for P1500 (£21.42) which saves planning ahead and also gives you the option of changing the island order to avoid bad weather or crowds for example.

You are treated like the most important people in the world, and the whole time feel like you have this paradise to yourself. Everything they do is done with quality and passion. "What an Aamzing hotel ! 1) The owner shares the same faith as I do which is a huge thing for me . 2) the staff are so friendly and helpful . I left my keys 3x on the door handle and my room was never opened . If you get there , talk with the owner and learn the history of the hotel . You’ll truly know the meaning of perseverance , hardwork and dedication . Glad I stayed at this hotel. "

"The stay was wonderful. The location is near all the restaraunts in General Luna. The restaraunt probably has one of the best pizzas I have ever had, especially since Inhad pizza in Napoli before. The service was top notch and all the staff made me feel welcome. I recommend anyone visiting Siargao for the first time to try the Henry out."
