「The hotel itself was fine. It was clean, and the breakfast was decent. The negative review has more to do with the staff. Initially, I booked for one night. We decided we needed two nights instead, so I cancelled the one night and booked two nights. Upon arrival, the lady at the lobby could not find my two night reservation and said I only had one night. I provided the Expedia confirmation number and Itinerary number, and showed her the email. She said those numbers did not help her and...

「Room was immaculately clean, spacious, with comfortable beds. Tastefully decorated with antiques, fitting for a 100+ year old historic hotel. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry you luggage up one flight of stairs.」

「Beautiful home and wonderful location. It's a little bit spendy, but much better than the hotel in town. Will definitely stay here again.」

「We were delighted to find a place in Avery in July. My only suggestion is the polyester sheets are a problem, as they’re sticky sweaty and VERY UNCOMFORTABLE for me to sleep in. The shower was fabulous! 」
