"This is a bare bones hotel, but with that said it was very clean, bed was super comfortable, and the breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. What really stood out to me was the staff. The breakfast lady was very attentive and restocked everything quickly and kept the place sparkling clean. The price was high for a bare bones hotel, but that area is very expensive, so it was reasonable for the area. I booked this room through Expedia and it came up when I searched for hotels in Moab. I didn't notice that it was in Blanding until we arrived at Arches National Park. To my surprise it was 80 miles away. I already paid for it so we ended up making the 80 mile drive. Which was a total bummer as it added 80 miles into our drive the next day to head home. Other than that, it was a good stay."

"It is an experience. The rooms are really clean and well maintained. The thing that stands out is the old fashioned feel of the property, which is what they are trying for in the 60 decor and vibe. If you are into unique... go for it. Just don't expect a modern hotel experience. "

"the place is very old. the sink in the bathroom would not drain, and when it did, stuff was coming up...the curtains were ripped at different places, and lots of moths behind.....although the view was great, the surroundings were covered with empty bottles and trash. The place was nearly empty and we were given a room with no direct access to our car. Two doors down my room, the curtain rods were hanging half way down...one unit had door open with yellow tape across. Hallway door that would normally require using your key to enter the building was not even locking. Would NOT recommend to anyone..and the price was outrageous for what we got. Expedia charged $40 more than the hotel was advertising for!! Bad experience all around!!"
