「I am assuming because of Hurricane Helene, like the rest of Lake Lure area, this place flooded. Our problem was that there was a strong odor coming from the basement. They sprayed something into the air to cover it, but it was awful. We had to leave a day early because it was just too much. I hated to write this review because we love Lake Lure, but sadly it was hit hard and they are still in recovery, not just them but the whole area.」

「Very spacious rooms (ceilings seemed really high), very clean, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, quiet (could not hear neighbors, etc.). Breakfast was delicious as always. Front desk staff was very kind (we requested a late check-in and did so with no issues at all). It was another positive, consistent experience with Hampton Inn (we love staying with them because of their consistency).」

「Overall it’s just ok. Instructions are a bit iffy. Like taking the trash out gave special instruction but I checked out on Sunday and it said not to put the trash inside the container until the morning it is picked up which is Monday??? Says to bring it to an offsite place if not on a pick up day but it’s closed on Sunday??? Like I said it was OK the place was clean just really dated and there was a lot of outside noise that can be heard. The price was good so I would stay again. I will say the...

「Emaculate historic inn within a couple blocks of many ships and restaurants. The owners very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant is most likely the best in town. A must stay when visiting Black Mountain.」
