「A beautiful, luxury estate in the countryside. While we traveled as a couple, it seemed a popular destination for families with children. The restaurant on site was excellent and the rooms were well appointed and comfortable. We stayed in a junior suite which had stairs from the living room/bathroom up to the bedroom loft. *something to be aware of when booking」

「Location wise, it is right in the center of Siena and is close to all the tourist attraction points. It is also the only five star hotel within the walls of Siena. The hotel is well equipped, and since we booked the best suite in the hotel, the view from it is spectacular. 「This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.」

「Nice staff with very wonderful experience to check in」

「Concierge desk - Francesca - was off the charts! Was hoping for more modernized room with better views」
