「Lovely shabby chic style hotel with lots of upcycled features within a renovated collection of buildings around a central courtyard. Attentive welcome from the owner and lots of nice touches, such as the gifting of a delicious homemade chocolate dessert on our final night. Makes a pleasant change from overly commercialised and formulaic hotels, where you are just part of a pipeline of guests - this feels more like staying with family or friends. Highly recommended」

「Excellent location and excellent, engaging hosts ... felt like friends. Daily temp 96, but studio was reasonably cool and cooled down nicely at night. A very unique, quaint property. Only challenge was finding it since in non-driveable medieval Square. Would definitely stay there again.」

「Excellent stay, beautiful, quaint hotel with very helpful staff. Very clean, with daily house keeping. Couldn’t find fault and would stay again. If I was asked to find anything at all i would have preferred, it would be to have liquid hand wash was instead of a bar. And shower gel rather than shampoo. However, this did not affect our stay at all.」

Les plus : - Côté rustique et authentique du bâtiment, qui rappelle les anciens corps de ferme avec leurs portes et planchers bruts d'époque - Petit déjeuner incroyable, produits locaux frais et goûteux - Propriété décorée et entretenue avec passion par les propriétaires qui sont adorables Les moins : - Ménage ok (lit, sanitaires) mais sans plus en ce qui concerne la chambre en général qui est "dans son jus" - Chemin d'accès...

「What a gorgeous stay at a beautiful chateau. We had the most peaceful stay here - very welcoming staff who were so friendly. We felt incredibly special and well looked after, and cooked for. The air conditioning and cool room were so well appreciated in the heat wave. The property is gorgeous, quiet and so relaxing. It was a perfect stop off on our trip.」

「Increadibly basic, but ok for a stop over. However, the bathroom door would not shut and the toilet seat was broken, otherwise it was reasonable. Check in and out was easy!」

「Les chambres sont spacieuses et refaites, malheureusement la propreté n'est pas au rendez-vous. Malgré les efforts faits par le gérant pour nous satisfaire et nous délivrer une chambre familiale adaptée à deux jeunes enfants, l'expérience reste mitigée. L'espace jeux d'enfants extérieur n'est pas praticable et la piscine mal entretenue. L'hôtel est plutôt un lieu de travailleurs de passage qu'un lieu familial.」

「What was unique was when we sat down to dinner, there were two other guests and the owners sat around the same table. More like a dinner party than a hotel restaurant scenario.」

Pas besoin de réveil : on se réveil en sursaut dès qu’une porte est fermée - Impossible de brancher le convecteur en même temps que charger son téléphone sans risque de faire sauter les plombs de la chambre. Heureusement qu’à minuit, une personne était encore disponible par téléphone et a pu faire intervenir une personne. - douche très serrée avec mitigeur à l’ancienne 」

「We thoroughly enjoyed are stay! The pool and AC were a welcome relief from the heat. The hosts were excellent and we loved hearing about the work they’ve done to the house and the history of the delicious cassoulet they served up in the evening. I wish we’d stayed for longer.」
