「My fiance and I stayed at the Hotel for my birthday. The Hotel provided a free upgrade to us and prepared a birthday cake for me at breakfast! A total surprise! Impressive! There are a range of tours which you may join at the Hotel - and we picked the tea plucking class which we enjoyed very much. The surrounding environment is unbeatable - with leveled tea fields surrounding the Hotel. Would very much like to come back for another stay!」

When I first looked it up, I saw some older reviews that were negative, but those were from years ago when the building wasn’t finished. Now, it’s a beautifully built place—spotlessly clean, no bugs (which can be an issue in Ella), with a comfortable bed, spacious room, and a pristine bathroom. Everything was just perfect. But the real highlight was the view. From the balcony, I saw the most breathtaking sunrises and panoramas...

We had the pleasure of Thushanthan helping us with both directions, tips and service — and he spoke our language as well! Overall, a great place to stay for a weekend in Ella. Could use a little touch up here and there, and perhaps a broader range in the breakfast buffet, but truly a great offer for the price. 」

「The view was amazing at Belmont it was absolutely breath taking and the rooms and washrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good as well. The only caution to look out for it there’s bugs that come in the room at night through the door to the balcony if there’s so hidden spaces, but if u stuff a bag or something in those spaces it should be okay. 」
