「Staff, especially at the bar, was very nice. The room was very spacious and clean. The pool and rooftop were an excellent amenity and the location was central to everything by the water and beautiful gardens. The breakfast was delicious and varied, very fresh with fresh baked bread and pastels de nata.」

「Breakfast was good. Service was good. Rooms were clean- lack of suitable furniture in the common room (take over-abundance of furniture from the lobby and use it in older style rooms). Ocean view from room was good - even though there is no balcony off the room (which was larger than normal, I think)」

「Lovely atmosphere without any kids. The hotel was fully booked but didn't feel crowded. The deluxe room was worth it - lovely coffee from the coffee machine and a little bar/fridge & robes. The location was a short way uphill out of the town but in a nice area and not a long walk for anyone with reasonable fitness, There were plenty of buses. You could walk downhill to a bus stop and get off further uphill on the way back. There was also a hotel minibus into the town. We had a great stay! 」
