「Lifts were awkwardly placed. We needed to use the stairs. Noisy. The front desk staff weren’t very helpful. They were not available 24 hours as advertised. I needed to speak to someone overnight. When I went downstairs, there was no-one at the desk. When they were present, they were more focussed on laughing and joking between themselves than on the service of guests.」

「The proximity to the beach was amazing! Check in was easy. The room was okay-poor. The bathroom was clean and great! Sheets and bed were great! Carpet had stains close to the patio doors. Also, lots of mold on the drapes and carpet and wall around the patio doors. Our room faced west and was ground floor. It was quite hot in the room so we had to open the patios doors but there was no screen or window to keep open through the night. Also, the hotel information books has conflicting...

「From start to finish the river Lee hotel was exceptional! Staff was top notch and remembered us by name each day. Hotel is sparkling clean and smells beautiful each day! The food breakfast lunch and dinner top notch! Each meal was outstanding. I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could. The rooms were maintained daily and were comfortable for our family of 3. I have no complaints at all and can not wait to come and stay again. Thank You River Lee for an exceptional stay during our time at Cork.」
