Really nice hotel that is run in conjunction with the local college hospitality program. During school year, students work at the hotel in various capacities. Bartender in the lobby was super nice. There is a free tasting of local wines in the lobby in the evenings. Rooms are very nice. Out of the city location, but there is a shuttle to downtown available.

This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Absolutely beautiful historic building with a grand scale and fully updated modern rooms. The design and comfort is impeccable. Large room and bathroom, but not so large that it isn’t cozy. Perfect in my opinion. The onsite dining options are fantastic for world class breakfast lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices. And the coffee is amazing. There were a couple of quirks in the room—the sound of trickling water whenever the ac turned...

Both check in and check out were extremely pleasant experiences. I stayed for an event at Drake, and the location was right across the street from where I needed to be making this an excellent place. The room was clean, updated, very comfortable, and I was glad for the parking. I would definitely stay here again for any other trips to this part of town.

We needed a room for one night. It was very nice. Good rates, very comfortable beds, and close to everything. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The free breakfast was very good. The bar had 2 for 1 drinks. I would recommend this motel to other travelers.

The staff are the real stars here! They are so nice - from the front desk to housekeeping. Special thanks to Erica in housekeeping for making the stay wonderful. I had asked for bare minimum (new sheets and towels) and she did it all plus gave me extras of towels. She saw my little boys! Appreciated the thoughtfulness. The ladies in the breakfast room were also very nice, making sure the kids and I had what we needed. Biscuits and Gravy are Sundays BTW. It was delicious everyday. Great stay!...
