Bit of a distance from the main train station but easily reachable by tram or bus (be careful if you have big bags and it's rush hour!). Easy to reach Miyajima from here. "great location and easy to get around. Excellent Italian restaurant across the street. You can buy a return day pass to Miyajima that covers tge train and the ferry to the island. Very cheap and convenient. Room was spotless and nicely appointed. My only criticism is that there is not much space to hang up clothing if staying for several nights. Breakfast is better elsewhere as well."
