"Excelled my expectations, initally from outside it appeared dull looking in my opinion, but once inside it was very clean and bright, our room was exceptionally clean with a bright welcoming decor, big comfy bed, spotless bathroom and powerfull shower and huge car park at rear, although we had parked at the front as wasnt aware of the rear one....lovely breafast in the morning and very reasonably priced. Possibly back in the area in June and wont hesitate to book here if theres availability."

"Pub is old, so it has a care worn look as you would expect. Room itself was really clean, shower was hot, facilities good and all in working order. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good value. No complaints."

"Perfect for my work trip. Nice en suite room with friendly staff. The room i got was spacious and clean. Car park is small and tight - you need to be a driving instructor to park in the lines or manoeuvre in and out. Local supermarkets and food places open to a reasonable time. "
