"I made a reservation for three dome accommodations. The pools were beautiful, and the food at Maria was reasonably priced. We were asked to sign a document regarding noise policies because we were told this was intended to be a very quiet and relaxing area. I specifically chose the domes because my children wanted the experience, and the domes themselves were very clean and well maintained.
Unfortunately, the issue occurred at night. There was no staff available at the reception There was no staff available at the reception area, and next to our dome there was a tennis court with a bar where loud music was played late into the night. We were never provided with a security contact number, so we had no way to communicate with anyone for assistance.
Additionally, the reception staff informed us that there were other domes located in a much quieter area of the property, and they did not understand why we had been assigned to this section, where noise from nearby construction and passing vehicles from the road could clearly be heard.
The only response we received was that they would inform management. They offered a late check-out, but since our flight was leaving early, that option was not useful for us. Unfortunately, there was no real effort made to acknowledge the inconvenience or offer any type of credit or resolution beyond a simple apology."
