「To say this stay was phenomenal would be an understatement! We weren’t sure exactly what to expect on the island before we arrived but we were pleasantly surprised by everything. Travel was very easy on the ferry with a prearranged ticket and a person to greet us on Heron Island. We were then picked up on the beach on Heron Island, where we had a fun 20 minute boat ride to Wilson. 「Room was clean and serviced. Staff were super friendly. Restaurant was clean with friendly staff and service was great. Meals were what was expected and timely. Function we attended was all that was expected. Bit disappointed that there was no microwave, toaster, crockery or cutlery in the room.」

「Our stay in Gladstone was disappointing overall. The after-hours check-in process was complicated and not clearly communicated, which made arrival stressful. Unfortunately, the room itself was not well maintained, with a ripped chair and used dental floss left on the bathroom floor, which raised concerns about cleanliness. This property needs better attention to detail and housekeeping standards to meet basic guest expectations.」
