"Great"

"Everything was really nice only downfall is that the kids play area was not maintained and mostly broken, and the pool and jacuzzi definitely not worth it, although it's spring water there is still a level of cleaning that could be done it was terribly aweful. Staff and stay were good"

"Superb hotel! We love it. An annual visit we would not miss. Highly recommended."

"Enjoyed the room and areas around it"

"We Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and relaxing place. It was great. Perfect place to unwind and destress"

"Hi we had a wonderful stay. Will definitely come back."

"We were greeted on arrival by the owner, who was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The room was extremely spacious and well appointed and the breakfast excellent. Dullstroom is evidently the highest town in South Africa at well over 2000 metres above sea level. As such it is somewhat cooler than most of the country and provided a welcome respite. We would have no hesitation in recommending Critchley Hackle and hope to return ourselves next year."

"Very comfortable and clean. Ideal for an overnight stop but Needs more plug points and could do with a bigger desk for laptop users.!"

"The reserve is a nature lover's oasis. We were there in December, the biome is teeming with life. We spotted duiker, boomslang, baboons, mongoose and lots of colourful birds, butterflies, dragon flies and much more. The hike up the valley is beautiful. Highly recommended if you want a peaceful back to nature retreat. "

"Room was superb and staff best ever i have encountered and i have travelled the world"

"Lovely service and impressive grounds unfortunately the rooms could do with a bit of an update. Over all a lovely stay "

"This was the nicest property we stayed at during 3 weeks in SA. The only issue is the drive to the property is rough, making access to restaurants prohibitive. I recommend this property for isolation and relaxation."

"Everything was excellent"

"It has privacy and everything is top class in the room, I have no complaints surely I’ll come back again "

"2 weeks prior to our arrival, we sent a message, and have still not had a reply. At arrival, the host did not know we were coming and had no info about our booking. Luckily she did a good job on preparing our house quickly. Kitchen supply was very old, frying pan useless and no toaster. "
