「Staff were unreal and the cottage was amazing」

「They automatically put a hold on your credit card when you get there, which is fine. What they don’t tell you is that they will put a hold on there because you charge everything to your room. When you bring it up to management, they were not helpful at first. But then his solution was to check out and recheck back in so they could refund or reverse the holds that they did that were over $1000. Also the bus to Seven Mile Beach does not run on the weekends, and when we called on a Friday they did...

「It felt like a senior resort. The beach was 15 minutes away, and every day we were asked to attend a timeshare presentation. Excursions required at least five people, but hardly anyone wanted to do anything, so getting a trip together was difficult. A cab ride into town cost $200 USD, and there wasn’t even a bar near the pool. And get this—our room was three blocks away from the food, bar, and pool!」
