Staying there is like at home, as you got that kind of family touch … room is spacious and clean , views throughout the vineyards are stunning! Learned that owner’s vineyards haven been rented to Saint Angelus, one of our favorite wines, and that backyards has indeed enhanced our feeling. 」

We also very much appreciated the recommendations on things to do in the vicinity and which scenic roads to take. We felt like we stayed with family. Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. 「This B&B can only be reached by car. The room is clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful. They do not provide dinner but they will introduce the restaurants nearby. They own a vineyard. Guests are free to visit. They have a wine tasting session at 7 pm. The staff there explained their wine production in details. The wines are good. We have bought a few bottles from them. The breakfast was great. Surely will visit there again if we go to Bordeaux.」
