"We arrived to the hotel via train & bus with a one-night booking and dinner reservations upon our arrival time. The hotel was closed with lights off and no one in sight. We had to call multiple times to get anyone to answer, and finally, we had someone answer and share that they had an issue with the fire alarm so they had to shut down. "This was a peaceful and quiet retreat in Einsiedeln. 20.minute walk to the abbey or train station, about 8 minutes to the nearest bus stop. Theres plenty of nature around the property, and my room had a twin bed, a sink, a chair and table and a closet. I also had a big window for fesh air. I think this is a great option for travelers and hikers. Breakfast is served every morning and i was able to sit in the small library and visit the onsite chapel.
