「Clean place, decent rooms. Breakfast area and food just meh. Pool closed and did not use gym area. Staff friendly but housekeeping did enter room WITHOUT KNOCKING, while do not disturb was on door so lock up completely!!」

「I tore the bed apart after the stay the mattress was nasty it had stains all over and big holes in the mattress it was gross!!!」

「This place is a hidden gem! The room was incredibly clean and decorated in the cutest style! A coffee maker with pods and tea were provided as well as some small snacks and water in the fridge! I really liked that dishes and silverware were also provided in case we may have needed to reheat food. The AC was a little finicky it seemed but kept us cool and comfy the entire stay. Lots of good choices for food with in driving distance as well.」

「Very clean. Helpful staff」

「This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished 1. Our sheets had HOLES in them! 2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom 3. No bath mat 4. Insufficient towels 5. Not enough dishes or mugs 6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down...

「We enjoyed the schoolhouse very much as the kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook easy dinners and lunches. The location was great as we visited nearby Harper’s Ferry and Shepardstown’s Bavarian Inn (dinner). The farmland in the area was breathtaking as we enjoyed driving around at night. The schoolhouse was a special experience considering both of us are teachers. Great job on the decor!」
