「The room was cold, but the bathroom was even colder because the heater was not hot and the quilts were thin. The room was very dim and depressing」

「Upon arrival had to wait for the desk clerk until he was told by another guest that there was someone at the front desk. During check-in I was told that the room I had reserved was not available (no reason given) and that I would get a room with 2 double beds instead of the one with 1 king bed. Also, during check-in I was told that the elevator was out of service and we would have to use the stairs, when we got to our room on the 2nd floor there was dirty linens still laying in the hallway along...

「The place is older and could use some upkeep and updating to improve appearance. The bed felt clean and was comfortable. The shower worked well. The staff person was helpful but kept the office door locked requiring ringing the door bell each time for access. No breakfast but granola bars and instant coffee offered. AC worked good. This place was OK if you’re on a budget.」

「I showed up at the property to check in and there was no one at the front desk. There was a number to call I called it numerous times and left messages after 30 min they called me back. And said they're phone was messed up and that they were at the property. I waited another 15 min and no one showed up. I tried calling them again and no answer. I ended up having to book a different hotel」

「The office was locked and the entire place looked in terrible repair」

「We chose this hotel based on reviews but they clearly were not authentic. The place is in desperate need of maintenance. There were only 3 guests in the whole place (including us) and yet the front desk gal would not or could not figure out how to give us a bottom floor room with two beds. We used a third party app because it had a room with “a king bed and two twins” as an option. When we arrived, we were told they don’t have any rooms like that and we had to take the king bed on the 2nd floor....

「There is no Lone Star. The place burned down about 4 years ago and hotels.com is still making reservations! I better not get charged for it.」
