「A restaurant is exactly downstairs of our room, so it was quite noisy in the night time from the guests sitting outside of restaurant. Also there was a few second noise from the electric box of the room every minute when we turned on the air conditioning. The location of room is very good, walking distance to Matera old town. We really enjoy to stay at Matera.」

「Even though we thought we were staying near Sassi, it was fairly easy to get there with the bus which stopped in front. Our host was extremely helpful and made it stay very positive. The room was a good size and loved our balcony.」

Highlight of our stay was Michael who was extremely accommodating, helpful and kind. This made the stay very pleasant and he was always anticipating our needs, being one step ahead. 「It's the best hotel for me. The owner of the hotel is very nice and enthusiastic. Although they don't speak English very well, they helped us a lot with our heavy luggage.
