Got photo's only to findout I was on the top floor with 3 flights of stairs . *No personal check in ALL done on line. * The area is ( quote by a taxi driver a bit dodgy although I found the people in the area to be very helpful & nice people. "Extremely convenient location. Newly renovated with modern furnishings. The kitchen was useful. The management was flexible and helpful. The main disappointment was that the listing didn't include all taxes, but rather before check-in, we had to pay an extra 10 Euros for a tax that was not included in the price. Another slight inconvenience is that after registering with Expedia, one had to complete a new registration with Camelotels."

"A fantastic hotel, with a small private and secure car park (pre book essential by emailing the hotel directly) within walking distance of all Ghent sights, just 15minute stroll to the centre My teenagers loved the space, friendly relaxed feel and lovely breakfast (lots of choice). The staff were so helpful and the hotel was spotlessly clean. We would highly recommend."

"We had a quick one night stuff over in Ghent on our way to Germany so this was a perfect place to stay and Central for a quick explore of the city. I was disappointed when I arrived to find that the road that the hotel is on was not accessible by Car due to major roadworks going on. It would have been very helpful for the hotel to have contacted us to inform us of this as it then meant that we parked in a car park about five minute walk away. The hotel staff did not seem to be well informed or particularly attentive of our need for parking, thankfully we managed to find parking ourselves."

"Clean room. More of a business hotel with business clients. Every thing was clean and professional. Breakfast was excellent. Location wise outside Ghent so took the uber which costs 10 euro each way. Parking costs 20 euro per day which is the big bear after spending approx £175 per night averge per night. I guess it’s Ghent so everthing is extra everywhere you want to park."

"Pros: Room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable and the en suite bathroom was everything you needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The common areas looked modern and inviting. Short walking distance to a railway station, buses, supermarkets and some cheap food options. Cons: The rooms are small and basic. The location is not in the medieval heart of Ghent but rather in a working-class area a 20 minute walk from the main tourist sites. But this is, as the name clearly states, a budget hotel and is excellent value for money in an expensive city."
