You (or at least I) get what you pay for. Check-in was fine, clerk was friendly and fast. Elevators were terrifying, a lot of jolting, bumping, and very noisey, just sounded old and in bad shape, buttons didnt light up either. The room felt like a converted janitors closet. It was IMMEDIATELY to the left of the elevator which meant it was very noisy in my room anytime anyone used the elevator, whether it was my floor or a different one. The interior was poorly painted with splatters everywhere and the tub was clean but very stained. Everything else was fine. The property is located in a dark area and is not very well illuminated, especially if you have to come in from the back entrance (which you have to do if you arent exiting from the interstate). Overall, it was worth the $86, but I think a few liberties were taken with the word Quality, I think Adequate Inn would be more appropriate.

The property is run down no AC in the hallways, dusty; musty smell and no breakfast was over before the time it stated with little to nothing available. I had to call and complain twice about the upstairs people running and droppings things at 1 am. J was told I could be moved but it was after 1 and my kids were asleep.

Unacceptable Stay – No Service, Broken Bathroom, and a Room That Smelled Like a Septic Tank From the very first day, the refrigerator in our room was broken. All the fresh food we had just bought—milk, fruits, vegetables—spoiled completely. We reported it to the front desk, but no one came to fix it. The toilet in our room was clogged, and when we told the staff, they said, “The maintenance person won’t come until tomorrow morning, so don’t use the toilet for now.” We asked if we could use the lobby bathroom, but they said it was also out of order. However, we clearly saw their own staff using it—just not allowing us to. We couldn’t even get fresh towels, and eventually, they stopped answering our phone calls altogether. We had to go down to the front desk every time, only to be ignored again. The breakfast offered had no protein at all—no eggs, no yogurt, not even peanut butter. There were no tissues provided in the room either. I had booked a 4-night stay and kept asking if I could get a refund if I checked out early due to all these issues. No one ever responded to me. The room itself smelled like a 30-year-old septic pit. When I asked if I could use the bathroom in a vacant room, the staff immediately claimed, “We’re fully booked.” But the parking lot was nearly empty—it clearly didn’t match what they said. This experience was utterly inhumane—no working toilet, no food storage, no basic service, no help, and no honesty. I strongly urge Expedia to reconsider allowi

The room was dusty and the sheets smelled odd. I had to call the front desk twice, due to noisy children running back and forward, hitting the walls. The front desk offered me to move, mind you at 1 am with kids was a no go for me. Breakfast was out by 9am very limited options.

The front staffs Martha and the other young lady were nice and welcoming. Aside from that, the place is only good for a very short stay, 1 or 2days. This hotel seemed to be used for displaced people ,some who wont stay in their zones. If you want a quiet or relaxing time, this is not for you. A couple standing between our window and next talking not minding that people are in doors sleeping but hearing their voices. The dining place is nothing to write home about, too close. Youll have to go into lobby for coffee and cool water or non for tea. After getting or before the main meal in the dining room. I wont want to go back there again. I chose it bcos it was close to the function, I attended, not know that it was that bad of a hotel. The staff Martha and the other short lady, (pardon but I forgot her name), were pretty cool. .

The room assigned to us at 1st was unclean and was assigned another after complaining and as they saw it themselves .

This hotel had the worse odor I have ever smelled in my life. It was like a mixture of mildew, mold and musk. Upon check in the room didn’t have any towels in it and the vending machines were all out of order and they had like warm bottles of water for sale behind the counter. Not once during the entire stay did housekeeping check to see if we needed anything. And every night the hotel parking lot had people outside having a party drinking in the parking lot.

When you arrive, they ask for a fifty dollar security deposit. The place is run down and smells horrible. Yet they have the nerve to ask me for a deposit.

If you’re a believer in you get what you pay for, then you won’t have any issues at all here. We needed a place for 2 nights on a very tight budget. 4 walls, a window, a door, and a decently comfortable bed was all we needed and all we got. I will say that the breakfast was good! Very limited options, but what they had was good. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the building and the room. I chose this of all the cheap hotels in Denton as none of the reviews mentioned seeing roaches. We did see a tiny one in our bathroom, but I contribute that to the heat and humidity, as Denton as a whole has a roach problem vs the cleanliness of the hotel. The area felt very sketchy and I was worried about my car in the parking lot and didn’t see any obvious cameras, but nothing happened and our stay went without hiccup.
