「This is the 2nd time for us staying in the yurts. Very affordable, comfy bed, cleanliness of whole property, attention to details, and beautiful location. So close to nature and owners do a nice job of providing everything you need. Lanterns, bedding, towels, toiletries, firewood, coffee. Enjoy the decorating and landscaping outside the property. There is also a gathering space with seating, games, beverages, and tv viewing. Plenty of places to gather and enjoy nature! I look forward to...

「The staff at Spearfish Canyon Lodge and Roughlock Falls Restaurant never tried to charge me a fee to use my Visa DEBIT card! The restaurant Cheyenne Crossing did try and charge me a fee to use my debit card, which is a federal offense. Different rules apply to charge card vs. debit cards. Thank you to Spearfish Canyon Lodge! A classy comforting experience!」

「The bathroom lights did not work. The flush was not working. I had to call multiple times to the staff. The staff was responsive for my complaints though and tried to solve the issues」

「The King room we had was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was well done. If you do the mini golf, just know as of May 2026 the turf and course are in fairly rough shape. Still playable and fun, but in need of upkeep. The hotel itself was outstanding :-)」

「Rooms were so clean, bed was incredibly comfy, and the property was peaceful. The “water park” was PERFECT for younger kiddos (max depth of 42”) and wasn’t overly packed. Would definitely stay here again!」

「Being in the King suites on the street side are loud with the Bodega across the street especially on the weekends if you are an early to bed type of person but the rooms are great!」

「There was close and easy assigned parking. Loved staying here. Very cool building and great staff. Only complaint is the beds ans pillows are not good. But would stay here again!」
