The hotel was very clean. Great location right on the beach. Staff was very nice, welcoming and accomodating. Great experience. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Wonderful stay here! Staff were incredible. Resort has been renovated and is in good condition. Location is good. Pool area and hot tub are fantastic. We will return to this resort when coming back to the area.

Overall the stay was ok. The rooms were very outdated and had a fire ant problem. The door fell off the fridge, was so rusted out. The maintenance did come quick though. But the ant problem did not resolve.

We unfortunately won’t be attending again. The property requires quite a bit of upkeep, as some areas of the hotel and rooms appeared very rusted and had visible mold. Housekeeping is also not included unless you pay an additional fee. Additionally, many of the guests appeared to be shareholders, and unfortunately, we did not feel very welcomed by some of them as guests of different ethnicities. This made it difficult at times to fully enjoy the amenities and feel comfortable during our stay. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, and based on these concerns, we would not choose to return.

It was a great location and clean. The hallway smelled. The pool and outdoor deck were very nice with great access to the beach. We did not see some of the resort features that were online such as the slides and lazy river. They made it seem that the beach umbrellas and chairs were included online. They were not. Extra bedding and pillows would be nice. The bed needs to be more firm. The location was great and we hope to visit again. The staff was nice

Worst stay in my life.

I am utterly appalled by the deplorable treatment my family and I received during our stay at your establishment. Despite our simple request for additional bedding and clean towels, we were met with blatant disregard and redirected multiple times. When attempting to retrieve the items from a housekeeping cart, which we presumed were provided for guest use, we were unjustly accused of theft and subjected to aggressive verbal assault. The behavior exhibited by your staff, including housekeeping and security, was utterly reprehensible. We were unjustly labeled as thieves, harassed, and humiliated, culminating in our forced eviction from the premises. It is utterly unacceptable to be subjected to such baseless accusations and hostility when simply seeking assistance. This experience has not only marred our stay but has deeply offended and disappointed us. It is incomprehensible that a hospitality establishment would permit such disgraceful conduct towards its guests.

Wonderful place for a family retreat

THis was a great retreat with Family. My son and Daughter and her family had a wonderful time. Staff was very welcoming. Loved the activities and the fact you can walk out to the beach and enjoy the surf or remain on the pool deck. Can say enough about this stay.

We love this resort. It is so relaxing and laid back. All the guests are super nice and friendly. The activities are always a great time- love Bingo by the pool. Great restaurant choices all within walking distance. Will stay here again.

There is security on site around the clock. Love this! Your vehicle and your stay is at the property feels very safe. The restaurants they have onsite are outstanding. Good choices of food. We stayed in a studio with a balcony on the 3rd floor, it was comfortable for 2 people and this included the Murphy bed. We slept very well! I would say this has been a very nice stay at this facility for young and old guests. We recommend staying at Ocean East. We will definitely stay here again!

Expensive. No room cleaning. No trash removal. Pool is small. If you want to use chairs around a pool you should wake up before sunrise (I’m not kidding). Check out at 10 am. I asked for 2 extra hours: $100. Lost beach towel - $25, lost room key (card) - $10.
